The Panthers’ volleyball team snagged their first win of the season earlier this week against Rollins College, handing new head coach Ashlee Crowder her first victory at Florida Tech.

After a slow start to the season, Florida Tech picks up a big conference win. The Panthers took down the Tars 3 sets to 1. Katie Erdmann contributed to 23 of the team’s 60 kills, jumping to #2 in the Sunshine State Conference in the statistics. Delaney Lott added a team-high .483 hitting percentage for the matchup, along with 14 kills.

Anna Harry collected a double-double with 18 digs and 40 assists. Erin Arbour led the club defensively with 20 digs. She now ranks fourth in the conference in the defensive statistics.

Tech’s next matchup is against Eckerd College, another conference showdown on Oct. 1. The Panthers look to post back-to-back victories in the Clemente Center.
