April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! This provides an opportunity to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual assault and educate on its prevention. According to the largest anti-sexual violence organization, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), about 13% of undergraduate students experience rape or sexual assault during college. College women

are especially vulnerable, as they are three times more likely to be a victim of sexual violence. Education and prevention of this topic are crucial for the safety of our students.

Florida Tech’s Student Counseling Center welcomes you to join our upcoming workshops on sexual assault awareness.
