Florida Tech sent out an email this morning to inform students that classes on Wednesday Nov. 9 and Thursday Nov. 10 will be on Zoom due to the Subtropical Storm Nicole.

Three weather advisories were sent out to Florida Tech students, faculty and staff to keep members of the campus updated. Zoom classes will be in place of in-person classes and all classes will meet remotely for these two days.

The email stated that all students, faculty and staff members should use all appropriate safety measures to protect themselves from the subtropical storm.

Until further notice, university academic buildings will be closed after the conclusion of classes on Tuesday Nov. 8. As well as the cancellation of all campus events for Wednesday Nov. 9 and Thursday Nov. 10. Keep in mind on Friday Nov. 11 that classes will not be taking place in-person or on Zoom due to Veterans Day.

Panther Dining Hall will be open until 3 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 9 and other dining locations will be closed. Take-out food from Panther Dining hall will be available as it was with Hurricane Ian earlier this semester.
